A Convivial Circle

Gesellige Runden

CAN WE THINK BETTER TOGETHER?

Convivial cirlces is a variable speech format lasting several hours that invites us to collective reflections and an unintentional togetherness. With beer and sandwiches Turbo Pascal discovers which themes in this circle persist or resist discussion, which unconnected questions regarding the condition of the world are still to be asked, and when it is time for a first dance. The convivial cirlces are hosted according to place and occasion and last a number of hours, as well as being open-ended, sometimes uncontrolled.

Reviews: “Although the answers to many of the questions were not terribly practical, several guests asked, ‘please do it again’. There is clearly a desire in our society, which people don’t feel able to express, to exchange thoughts. Didn’t local pubs once cater for this?
